SOCCER TOUCH ACADEMY would like to take the time to welcome you to our improved website. We recommend that you sample our camp video to get an idea of the uniqueness of our training. To promote effective and productive teaching we are introducing new tools to our camps this year. Most of our unique ideas come from Luis Sr. the Director of Coaching, who has created exclusive ideas and formats to be used in our STA programs and training. We have worked hard to put these new sets of tools into our training to make it fun to those that participate in our programs. STA is committed to the safety of our participants. That is why we constantly monitor their work rate from one session to the next. We believe progression is the key ingredient to total success. We expect these athletes to exert themselves whenever they are working on a certain skill to simulate the speed of play these players need to improve their level of play.
SOCCER TOUCH ACADEMY is committed to help players find a new passion and love for the game. The STA coaching staff believes that every player has deficiencies and our goal is to FIND it, FIX it and give them new skills to help them become a "COMPLETE PLAYER". In this country we see European and South American styles of play and here at STA we concentrate on South American style but we have found a unique way to incorporate both styles during each training session, in doing so we have become more productive and effective during a short period of time.
SOCCER TOUCH ACADEMY has created this environment by sacrificing the number of players allowed in each session, and by having a minimum of 20 and maximum of 32 players the participants can enjoy more repetitions and touches on the ball not found in other camps. The coach to player ratio is 8 to 1, a feature most participants enjoy. Our goal for 2011 and 2012 is to focus on mental errors vs. technical errors an area we believe will expand their knowledge but most important enhanced their understanding of the game regardless of the style of play coaches implement in their training.
8/12/2011
STA is now starting to expand its footprint outside northern Colorado. This summer we took our camp to the beaches of Cancun, Mexico! We ran a 5 day program for several local players. This was by far one of the greatest experiences for our company! "What a wonderful experience. I was honored to train some very talented players, who were very appreciative of STA's specialized training and uniqueness of the format of the program set for them. Going to Cancun has given me an opportunity to train all over Mexico, most importantly I will be opening doors for those very talented players and bring them to the United States to give them more opportunities, especially for the girls side. This will be an ongoing program for STA. My next vision is to create a program to allow players from the United States to travel to Cancun to participate in the programs as well." Over the next several months we are looking and not only increasing our number of camps here but expanding nationally. With Luis Sr's connections with the Mexican American Womens's National Team, he has been able to bring his programs to all these players and coaches. STA will look to run camps in Cancun, Texas and California next summer! Please visit our Facebook page for camps pictures and stay tuned for my STA's expansion!
